Get Your Antioxidants!

Foods with antioxidants in them are important to our health because they help remove free radicals from our bodies, which can critically damage cells.  When levels of free radicals become greater than the supply of antioxidants, cell degeneration occurs.  This leads to such conditions as accelerating aging, heart disease, some types of arthritis, and even the development of cancer.

Free radicals are formed by many different factors; some of the key factors are:

  1. Stress
  2. Constipation due to poor diet
  3. Consumption of unsaturated oils
  4. Chemical additives in food

Try some of our tasty options that are great sources of antioxidants!
